I have more than five years of instructional experience teaching students at various levels. I tutor middle school and high school students in a variety of math, computer, and business courses including those offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs such as IB Business and Management SL and AP Computer Science. Working with students individually gives me more opportunities to focus on their particular academic needs. When teaching to a larger class the needs of the many must be taken into consideration. However, when one is working with a single student it is possible to not only focus on the concepts they find most challenging but also to go at a speed that is most comfortable for them. It also gives the student more freedom to ask questions along the way.
